THE VALUE OF MY TIME

Recently I spend my time relaxing and really not doing anything productive whatsoever. I spend a coupe of hours on homework if I have some but if not then I usually don't leave my bed. Only sometimes for snack. It's a problem. I try not to procrastinate but it's a challenge. I'm always tempted to lay down and do nothing and that's really not good. I debate whether I want to do y work and get it over with or if I wanna watch videos and most likely nap. I almost always go with the videos and nap. In order to reach the goals I want I need to stop procrastinating and do what will help me later on in life. I need to study, do my homework and help out around the house also. Focus on what's important!

LET ME WALK YOU THROUGH THE PEDESTRIAN

Let Me Walk You Through The Pedestrian              The story " The Pedestrian" by Ray Bradbury was a story that was based on an experience that Bradbury had with the authorities. He went on a walk at night around his house as he did every night. This one particular time the police had spotted him. They then began questioning him. Bradbury was a bit confused on why he was getting questioned for walking around his house. The officer asked what he was up to, then asked for his name, profession, if he was married and then asked for his address. The police then told him to get in the car. Bradbury refused since he had done nothing wrong. As he was walking to get in the police car, he noticed that no one was in the car. It was a robotic police car. In the story it was the only one left in the city. As the police car drove away with Bradbury inside, he watched all the houses pass. There was one house with bright lights at every window. This was

STORY OF MY LIFE

Honestly I don't think that anything interesting enough has happened to me. If I had to chose something then I would choose an event that happened to me in May of this year. Around that time I felt lost and felt like I had to find myself again. During this time a lot of my friends, who I thought were loyal, kind of turned on me. They wanted me to continue living the way I was. They wanted me to spare feelings. I refused to do something that made me unhappy and hurt more in the end. They would't include me in anything after that. Suddenly I was the bad guy in this situation. I was upset. I realized I had nothing to be upset about. I built up the courage and I left. Those toxic people didn't care if i was happy or not and it was a good thing I did what was best for me and for my happiness.

SO THIS GUY GOES FOR A WALK

Ray Bradbury wrote the story " The Pedestrian" based on a real-life experience that happened to him. Bradbury has gone for a walk and was stopped by a police officer. He was confused sine he had not done anything wrong. The police officer then continued to question him and his intentions. Bradbury answered honestly but the officer still arrested him. I think that the character was feeling frustrated considering that he didn't do anything wrong. The story was showing us an example of how unfair someone with authority can be to someone without a voice.

THE ART OF HOSTING GOOD CONVERSATIONS ONLINE

This article basically talks about what to do and not to do in an online conversation. For example there were topics such as Good Online Discussions, A Host Is..., What A Host Does; What A Host Tries to Grow and Host Behavior. Each topic goes into more detail and really breaks them down. It gives you ideas about what's in a good conversation also what should be in one.

SAME WORDS DIFFERENT PEOPLE

During my conversation with the nearest group I learned that everyone has a different or at least not the same definition for a certain word. I also learned that not everyone has the same understanding. I understood one word more than someone else and vice versa.

INVESTING IN ME

When I have long periods off from school I like to work and save up so that I at least have some money. Some I put into my savings account so i can use later and I usually spend the rest. I'm trying to save up money for college to help myself out in the future. On my birthday and on Christmas I receive money from my aunts and uncles and try to save up as much as I can. I encourage everyone to start thinking about the future and save up.

FIRST IMPRESSION OF A DREAM

I thought that the poem was interesting. When he said " That my days have been a dream" I thought that this poem would be a lot like "Young Goodman Brown" in the sense that both poets want us to see their work from a different perspective. They want us to wonder and question the poem and what it stands for. When you're dreaming you can sometimes tell that its not real but there's certain times where everything feels real. It's freaky. Once you wake up you try to make sense of what happened and try to figure out if it was a dream. Its completely realistic and that's the scariest part.
